A new challenge

24th December 2017Magali BraffExperience, Flying, Uncategorised, Yoga

Besides my classic treatment, which consists of medication and physiotherapy, I decided to try a more alternative way of healing.  No medication but it’s reflexology (hands and feet), Auriculotheraphy, Reiki, Meditation and Craniosacral therapy. The place I go to is called “ The Healing Garden “.  Some weeks ago I suffered from a surcharge of my right psoas muscle, a deep, painful Chinese massage 3 times was really effective for me.

Breathing is really important to calm down.  It’s all about restoring and balancing the nervous system while releasing tension and stress.
This is my major problem: tension, muscle tension, I really have to learn how to relax my body, and that’s what I am working on, that is also why meditating is so good for me to help control my breathing.

I always wanted to try yoga, but I didn’t know if this was possible for me.
I asked someone for advice and he said I would be able to do it.
Yoga is so much fun for me.  I found a really good teacher, not far from where I live. I go once a week a private lesson. “Rusty Inner Peace” is the name of the yoga studio you can find me once a week.
The teacher, a young woman, is really doing a great job with me.
It’s challenging as well for her as for me, she is so motivated to help me.  I am always excited to go to yoga class.  The exercises are sometimes difficult, but she wants to get me out of my confort zone and I love it.
It also gives me positive energy for my Tunnel Flying .

Yoga class is really magical for me cause I am always so relaxed and thankful when I go home and I can’t hardly wait to go back.  My pain is under control and it’s not with medication, this means no side effects.

Of course there are still moments I am under pressure and tensed. But now I am able to control it and calm down, but It’s still not easy.

Yoga class is a great way to help me find a way to get out of my daily tension. We practice a variation on Yin Yoga, because some poses are “still “ too difficult for me. It’s so challenging: the pose begins at the moment you want to get out of it.

If you have any questions about tunnel flying, yoga, MS, muscle pain, tensions, … don’t hesitate to contact me.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Peaceful 2018 !

Love,

Vanessa
