Today, like any other Thursday, I went to Airspace. Usually I have a fly session at 2.30pm, but exceptionally it was at noon today. This demands some more effort because I need to wake up earlier than usual. Knowing that I have to get ready, drive one hour and a half to get to Airspace (if there is no traffic) and arrive there one hour before my session, I’ll leave the maths up to you 😉
Luckily I left on time and there was no hindrance on the road.
When I arrived I was first of all full of admiration to see the 4 meter tall, nicely decorated Christmas tree. I was well on time and so I sat down to have a drink while chatting with my coach Bill.
In the meantime, I noticed the guys of the Belgian army were training in the tunnel.
When talking about sky diving, everybody knows Hayabusa, the Belgian military parachuting team and in and outdoor Skydiving. I already met them many times at Airspace. They train there twice a month but today was a special day for me because I flew together with them in the wind tunnel. It was an extraordinary experience to fly together with world champions!Â
I hope I will fly with them again , but I’ll have to make improvements first.
Merry X-mass to all of you!!!
